El Paso Animal Services was honored to be nominated and awarded the 2023 Business Partner of the Year award for 2023. EPAS was nominated because of its partnership with three SISD high schools to offer students an opportunity to work on their Certified Veterinary Assistant certification prior to graduation under the direction of El Paso Animal Services’ medical team. This innovative partnership provides students with hands-on experience to work on real-world skills so they can not only pass their CVA exam, but to also have tangible skills to enter the workforce after graduation.
