Sapphire

Sapphire is a bouncy one. She is not really scared of a whole lot! She quickly moves from situation to situation, with lots of excitement and character. She loves anything and everything, especially food and attention. She walks great on a leash and learned basic commands in the first three days. She is a wonderful dog for an active family. She needs someone who is patient enough to understand her, but overall is a sweetheart and love bug with a big goofy smile and overactive wagging tail, with not a mean bone in her body! Her foster says “We discovered she is good with cats(!!!!), and already potty trained! She is great with a little exercise or a lot, and loves food. She shows interest in toys, just doesn’t know how to play yet, and just needs the right people to show her. So now we are teaching her some basic obedience and getting her used to life in a house.

She’s already fallen in love with being allowed on the couch! Her new family should be willing to have patience with her when it comes to greeting new dogs and kids, as she gets very excited and can get overwhelmed. Take things slow with her, and she can be the best dog for a kind, patient and loving family.”
