Glimmer

Glimmer has been quietly waiting at the shelter since July 27, 2024, hoping someone will finally see her for who she really is: a soft-hearted, 40-pound sweetheart with so much love to give. 💛

This gentle, submissive girl may be nervous at first—especially around adults and small children—but with patience and kindness, she blossoms into a playful, affectionate cuddlebug. Once Glimmer feels safe, her silly side comes out: she’ll run beside you with joy, roll over for full-body rubs, and snuggle up close when it’s time to relax.

She earned an A on her Doggie Day Out, where she showed just how special she is. She loved her chicken nuggets, leaned in for head pets, and kept her distance from cats without a single bark. Glimmer is still working on her leash skills and finds getting in and out of cars a little scary, but she’s trying—because she wants so badly to be someone’s dog.

Glimmer doesn’t need perfection—just someone patient, loving, and willing to go slow. In return, she’ll give you all the quiet loyalty and heart-melting affection she’s been saving up.

✨ Glimmer is ready to shine, if someone will just give her the chance. ✨

Come meet her at 5625 Confetti Drive, open 12pm-6pm every day.
