Mamba No 5 has been unwanted his entire life. From left in a broken bucket at a park at just a month old, to growing too big for his foster home at 4 months old, to waiting, and waiting, and waiting 9 months later. He went to a foster home earlier last month, but was returned the next day for having an upset tummy and being too much for the little dogs in the home.
We need to get this puppy a home that will love him, guide him, and give him a chance. We know he won’t be the perfect dog at first, but he is still so, so young and he still tries his best to be the best boy he can. With patience, commitment, and the love he’s been missing all his life, he can do this. We believe in this dog, and we need someone to believe in him, too.
Mamba is extremely friendly and outgoing. He loves everyone and everything with all his heart. He’s very active and loves to go for long runs with his volunteer friends. He loves belly rubs and gazing lovingly into your eyes. He loves to play with other dogs but would like slow introductions in the home while he decompresses and feels safe.
He may be too much for small children but would be happy in a home with kiddos that like to play with him and don’t mind giving lots of belly rubs. He’ll be a great dog, but he needs a chance.
Mamba is 10 months old, weighs about 50 pounds, and is already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is at 5625 Confetti Drive, El Paso, Texas, open 12pm-6pm every day.
