Mollie

Mollie arrived at the shelter very underweight, and the shelter environment has been especially hard on her. Because of that, she’s on out at risk list and urgently needs a foster or adoptive home where she can rest, gain weight, and feel safe.

We recently brought Mollie into our office to help her heal, and it didn’t take long for her to win hearts. From the moment she meets someone new, her tail starts wagging, and she’s ready to gently greet you and will patiently wait for pets.

She has lived with other dogs during her time in the shelter, and she even met a tiny kitten — after a quick sniff and realizing there were no treats involved, she politely walked away. Mollie is still discovering the world around her and seems unfamiliar with toys, which makes us think she hasn’t had many chances to just be a dog, but she is the sweetest girl who deserves a chance at a forever home. If you’re looking for a calm senior to love you unconditionally and who just wants to chill with you, Mollie is located at 5001 Fred Wilson Ave., open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. She’s ready for a second chance — and she’d love for you to be part of her story.
