EL PASO, Texas – The pets of El Paso Animal Services are joining the rest of America by casting their ballot for the party and candidate of their choice. The shelter pets will elect the next Animal Services Center president by choosing between; Mojo, the Foster Party candidate, or Freddy, the Adoption Party candidate.  

Through this unique shelter pet election campaign called “Race to the Right House,” Animal Services will educate the community on the department’s key lifesaving programs via social media. The community will also be invited to join in on the Election Day fun by casting their vote for pet president via the El Paso Animal Service Facebook and Instagram page. Voting will end at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3. Results will be emailed to media partners shortly after.
