Press Release: City of El Paso Animal Services Launches Pets and Vets Campaign

Adoption Fees Waived for Veterans, Active Military, First Responders and their Families

 

EL PASO, Texas – In recognition of Veterans Day, the City of El Paso Animal Services will be waiving all pet adoption fees for veterans, active military, first responders and their families on Friday, November 11 as part of the Pets for Vets campaign.

Pets and Vets aims at connecting families with shelter pets, while also honoring the service of the brave men and women in our community.

Animal Services is extending adoption hours on the holiday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the main shelter, 5001 Fred Wilson, and from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mission Valley Adoption Center, 9068 Socorro Rd. Both centers will only be open for adoptions.
