Tuesday is “Inspire Your Heart With Art” day and we are encouraging the community to get crafty to help our pets at the shelter! On our website and social media pages, you can find fun and creative ways to make enrichment items for the pets at the shelter, using things you have at home–such as toilet paper rolls, water bottles, newspaper, old t-shirts and more! 

We are also excited to be partnering with our partner foundation, Friends of El Paso Animal Services with the El Paso Community Foundation to unveil some amazing art pieces made by our very own shelter pets! This past weekend, some of our pets put their love on a canvas, and we’ll be debuting those art pieces tomorrow on social media! 

The community will have a chance to bid for a painting of their own, with all proceeds going toward the Friends of EPAS fund, which supports the many lifesaving programs we have at the shelter.
