El Paso Animal Services Debuts Facility Enhancements at Satellite Adoption Center

EL PASO, Texas—El Paso Animal Services Department invites the community to visit the newly improved Mission Valley Adoption Center, at 9068 Socorro Rd.

The center, which is open seven (7) days a week from noon to 5 p.m., recently underwent facility enhancements and repairs made in an effort to improve animal housing and enrichment areas, as well as upgrades to the public areas to make the center more welcoming for adopters and volunteers.

Improvements include:

• Replacement of dog kennels
• Exterior and interior facility upgrades including new paint, resealing of floors and new doors
• Repairs to visitor parking lot
• Renovation of the restrooms
• Addition of artificial grass and shade to dog play yards

These enhancements were made thanks to the coordination with other City Departments such as Streets and Maintenance, and with the help of donations from community partners.

The new artificial grass for the dog play areas was donated by El Paso Artificial Grass Supply and shade canopies were donated by the nonprofit volunteer organization Rescue Runners.
