Friends of El Paso Animal Services Hosts 3rd Annual Art Auction to Benefit Pets in Need
Paw-Painted Art by El Paso Animal Services Shelter Pets

EL PASO, Texas—Friends of El Paso Animal Services, in collaboration with El Paso Animal Services, is delighted to announce the third annual Inspire Your Heart with Art Day Virtual Auction.

This unique event combines art and compassion for animals, offering the community a chance to support pets in need through the purchase of one-of-a-kind creations.

The auction is now live and runs through January 31, 2025.

This year’s auction features exclusive, paw-painted art pieces created by adoptable pets at the shelter. Using non-toxic paint, dogs and cats unleashed their creativity by walking across canvases, resulting in vibrant, heartfelt masterpieces. These unique works of art are available for bidding, giving supporters a chance to own something truly special while making a difference in the lives of local homeless pets.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit Friends of El Paso Animal Services, a nonprofit supported by the El Paso Community Foundation. The funds raised will directly support El Paso Animal Services’ community programs, including the Pet Pantry Program, Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Clinics, and other initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for the 23,000+ animals the shelter cares for annually.

“This event highlights the creativity and resilience of the animals in our care while giving the community an opportunity to support lifesaving efforts,” said Terry Kebschull, Director of El Paso Animal Services. “We’re excited to share these unique pieces and make a lasting impact on the lives of shelter pets.”
