5 YEAR SHELTER REFORM ANNIVERSARY
January 2021 marked our 5th anniversary of our Shelter Reform Plan being passed by the City of El Paso Leadership, Mayor & City Council. Before our Shelter Reform Plan, only about 25-30% of the pets that came into our care made it out alive. Now, we are saving tens of thousands of lives every year, giving pets second chances, and being the resource our community needs—and it’s all thanks to new programs, our national and local partners, and your support. Thank you, El Paso, we’ve only gotten this far because of YOU! Let’s keep it up—adopt, foster, volunteer, donate, spread the word!
The end of January marked our 4th anniversary of our Shelter Reform Plan being passed by City of El Paso, Texas – Municipal Government Mayor & City Council. Before our Shelter Reform Plan, only about 25-30% of the pets that came into our care made it out alive. Now, we are saving tens of thousands of lives every year, and it’s all thanks to new programs, our national and local partners, and our community’s support. Thank you, El Paso! We’ve only gotten this far because of people like YOU that have shown up to adopt, foster, volunteer and donate. Let’s make 2020 the year we make El Paso no-kill! Together we will save more lives!
It’s been 3 years since our Shelter Reform Plan was passed by Mayor, City Council and City Manager, providing us with the support to make Animal Services and El Paso no-kill by 2020. It’s thanks to all of you who have adopted, volunteered, fostered, donated, advocated, partnered with us and continued supporting us that we’ve come this far in just those 3 years! We are so close to #MakingElPasoNoKill, but it WON’T HAPPEN WITHOUT YOUR HELP! Join in on the lifesaving by adopting, fostering, volunteering, donating, vaccinating and spaying/neutering your pets, making sure they are microchipped, and by sharing our story. TOGETHER, WE WILL SAVE MORE LIVES!
January marked our 2nd Anniversary of our Shelter Reform Plan being approved by our mayor, city council and city manager. We’ve made great strides on our journey to no-kill by 2020, and we couldn’t have done it without your support! THANK YOU to all of our donors, volunteers, fosters, rescue partners, animal lovers and supporters for helping us get this far! We need you now more than ever these next two years, because only by working together, can we make El Paso a no-kill community. Join our lifesaving mission by adopting, fostering, volunteering and donating. TOGETHER, WE CAN SAVE MORE LIVES!
It’s been 1 year since the Mayor and City Council approved the Animal Services Reform Plan, and we have a lot to celebrate! Thank you for all your support, El Paso.
