El Paso Animal Services to Hosts ‘Pawliday Pawty’ Volunteer & Foster Event
Volunteers Needed to Walk and Feed Adoptable Dogs
We’ve joined with community partners, Rescue Runners 915 and Double Dog Dare Bakery, to host a joint ‘Pawliday Party’ volunteer and foster event to feed homeless pups at the shelter from 11am-2pm this Friday, December 23rd.
More than 700 pets are waiting for forever homes at the shelter and we’ll need a lot of community support to participate in this event by volunteering to walk shelter pups before they enjoy their Pawliday Plates. (Children under 18 years of age can walk dogs with a parent/guardian).
The event is in conjunction with our ‘Home for the Holidays’ adoption and foster promotion during the holiday break. Families willing to open their home to a foster pet temporarily are encouraged to take the pet home on December 23rd and can bring the pet back to the shelter on January 2, 2023, or request to extend the foster period. Fostering is free and all necessary supplies will be provided to fosters.
This event will take place at our main location, 5001 Fred Wilson Ave, from 11am – 2pm.
