Community Event Brings Justice for the Paws

WHAT:      Justice for the Paws Pet Event

WHEN:      4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024

WHERE:   11410 Montana Ave. (Gringo Theory)

El Paso Animal Services and local nonprofit rescue Law N Paws are teaming up for Justice for the Paws. This impactful event aims to raise awareness for animal cruelty victims and support the local pet community.

Attendees can speak with the El Paso Animal Services Protection Officers to learn about local ordinances protecting pets and how you can be a voice for animals by reporting cruelty or neglect.

Adoptable dogs from Law N Paws, a local nonprofit, will be on-site offering a chance to meet animals who have been given second chances after suffering from cruelty and neglect. El Paso Animal Services is also providing 100 free microchips for community pets and low-cost vaccines, courtesy of Far East Animal Care Center.

Proceeds at the event will support Law N Paws. Shop with local vendors, and enjoy giveaways, delicious food, and more! This event is all about raising awareness, coming together for a cause, and ensuring the safety and well-being of your pets. The City’s Animal Cruelty Investigations Unit (ACIU) will be on site for any questions about animal abuse or neglect.
