The City of El Paso Animal Services Department is hosting their fourth FREE drive-thru pet wellness clinic of the year from 8 to 10 a.m. Sunday, November 10, at 6500 Bonanza St., in collaboration with the El Paso County Animal Welfare Department and event sponsor Petco Love.

The clinic operates on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to the first 500 pets. Participants are reminded to keep their pets inside their vehicles throughout the drive-thru clinic. Dogs must be securely leashed, and cats should be placed in a suitable carrier.

At the clinic, all pets will be microchipped as required by El Paso City Ordinances. Dogs will receive a parvo/distemper vaccination and cats will receive a feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia (FVRCP) vaccination. Pets aged six weeks or older are eligible for vaccines. Rabies vaccinations will not be available during this event.

El Paso Animal Services encourages the community to take advantage of this upcoming event to help prevent disease outbreaks and increase the chances of lost pets finding their way home. With over 19,700 pets already entering the shelter this year, taking proactive steps like vaccinating and microchipping can make a meaningful difference in the health, safety, and well-being of pets across El Paso.
