From schools and organizations, to local businesses and dedicated community members, your incredible acts of kindness was inspiring. Here are just some of the heartwarming efforts we saw this year:
- Myrtle Cooper Elementary’s generous $500 donation, ensuring critical support for our animals.
- Handmade blankets and a $200 contribution from Northwest Early College that brought comfort to shelter pets.
- Mesita Elementary’s Pre-K students showcasing compassion through a Random Act of Kindness piggy bank collection.
- Mountain West Montessori’s handcrafted soap sales to raise funds for shelter needs—a true testament to creativity in giving.
- Loretto Elementary School’s Mrs. Martinez’s 4th Grade Class leading an impactful donation drive to support our mission.
- Riverside High School Student Council stepping up with generous contributions to enhance our efforts.
- Franklin High School Key Club spreading joy with a heartwarming toy drive for pets in need.
- Mesita Elementary School ECDC PreK Dual Language Class extending their kindness with another meaningful Random Act of Kindness collection.
- Harmony Public School – were proud to have collected boxes of items from their donation drive.
- A remarkable $2,500 donation from American Eagle Outfitters during their Day of Service, proving the power of teamwork and corporate generosity.
- UTEP students demonstrating community spirit with their thoughtful $50 contribution.
- Sunflower Bank – Employees at the N. Mesa and Alameda branches opted to collect donations for the shelter pets instead of giving each other holiday gifts.
- Helen of Troy – Donated over 100 bags of grounded cat kibble instead of discarding it.
- Torres Beauty raised $3,000 for spay/neuter initiatives through the creation and sale of hoodies, an effort that was matched by Gyn Path Services with another $3,000, doubling their impact and providing critical resources for pet health.
- Rescue Runners hosted numerous donation drives for our shelter pets, and also donated and installed shade sails for our Mission Valley Adoption Center so our adoptable pets can enjoy some time outdoors.
- Turf Pros and El Paso Artificial Grass Supply donated over $3,000 worth of turf for our Mission Valley and Westside Adoption Centers to provide shelter pets a safe and comfortable space to play.
- Marathon Petroleum sponsored a $5,000 match for El Paso Giving Day, which you helped us meet!
- An anonymous donor donated over $8,500 to purchase 70 dog pets for the pets at our Westside Adoption Center.
- The El Paso Veterinary Medical Association’s generous $2,000 contribution supporting vital animal welfare programs.
- Amazon donated roughly $13,000 of pet food and supplies.
- Foster Extranordinaires Gabby and Norman hosted their Annual Halloween Spooky Donation Drive, that collected over 200 boxes of food and pet supplies for our foster and Pet Pantry programs.
- El Paso Locomotive FC: Their “Pups at the Pitch” night not only provided unforgettable memories but also raised $1,000 to support our mission.
- Old Sheepdog Brewery: Hosted a Puppy Shower, creating a fun and welcoming environment for adopters.
- Aurellia’s Bottle Shop & Brewhouse: Hosted a successful Kitten Shower.
- Grand Canyon University provided food for staff and volunteers during National Veterinary Technician Appreciation Week and National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week.
- Gringo Theory: Partnered with us for numerous events to find homes for pets in need, They also hosted our Paws for a Cause event to bring awareness to animal cruelty in September!
- Viva La Plant Shop: Combined a love for plants and pets in a unique adoption event. They also have fostered over 20 dozen pets at their shop and helped them find forever homes.
- Chuze Fitness: Their “Chuze to Adopt” Pet Adoption Day not only raised $1,000 but also helped connect pets with loving homes and many more microchipped.
