It’s national cat health month, so now is a great time to check in on your kitty’s physical and mental health. Here are some tips to help make sure your cat is healthy both physically and mentally.
-Even if you’re cat is an indoor cat, your cat still needs yearly booster vaccines to keep them healthy and protect them from deadly diseases. Make sure your kitty is up-to-date on their Rabies and FVRCP vaccines. Your vet will also let you know if they need any other vaccines based on your region and your cat’s lifestyle.
-Take this time to schedule an appointment with your vet. They’ll give your kitty a good check up and make sure they are healthy all around—from head to tail! Dental hygiene is especially important and often forgotten about.
-Mental health is just as important as physical health! Make sure your cats have plenty of toys and scratching posts that they can play with and tap into their natural instincts!
