Join us as we try to CLEAR OUR SHELTER!
The largest national adoption campaign ‘Clear the Shelters’ is back again, and El Paso Animal Services is participating for the sixth year in a row.
The Animal Services Center will be waiving adoption fees today, August 27 through Sunday, September 19 for all its shelter pets, and all adoptions will include the pet’s spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license.
During previous ‘Clear the Shelters’ events, El Paso Animal Services has found homes for hundreds of shelter pets. This event comes at a vital time, as the shelter’s kennels remain full with over 700 pets looking for forever homes.
The Animal Services Center is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
WHAT: ‘Clear the Shelters’ National Adoption Event
WHERE: El Paso Animal Services Center, 5001 Fred Wilson Ave.
WHEN: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., today, Aug. 27 through Sunday, Sept. 19
For anyone not looking to commit long term to a pet, fostering is also an option. Fostering a pet is free and the shelter provides all the food, supplies and medical care the pet needs.
For those who cannot foster or adopt a pet at this time, donating pet food and supplies is also another way to help El Paso’s pets.
