The largest national adoption campaign ‘Clear the Shelters’ is back again with a Kick Off Bash. on Saturday, July 29th, from 10:30am-6pm at 5001 Fred Wilson, starting the month long campaign of FREE adoptions through August 31st.
The Animal Services Center will be waiving adoption fees from July 29th through August 31 for all its shelter pets, and all adoptions will include the pet’s spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license.
During previous ‘Clear the Shelters’ events, El Paso Animal Services has found homes for hundreds of shelter pets. This event comes at a vital time, as the shelter’s kennels remain full with over 600 pets looking for forever homes.
The Animal Services Center is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

For anyone not looking to commit long term to a pet, fostering is also an option. Fostering a pet is free and the shelter provides all the food, supplies and medical care the pet needs.
For those who cannot foster or adopt a pet at this time, donating pet food and supplies is also another way to help El Paso’s pets.
