We are teaming up with Rescue Runners to walk every adoptable dog at TWO of our adoption centers to give them some much needed relief outside of their kennels while also finding loving forever homes at this joint adoption & volunteer event! Sign up at RescueRunners.org

- 1pm @ Main Shelter, 5001 Fred Wilson
- 2pm @ Main Shelter, 5001 Fred Wilson
***Full length pants & secure, closed-toe footwear required. NO SHORTS or slip on shoes allowed.***
Refreshments will be provided for all volunteers. Runners & Walkers of all speeds may participate. Please just be prepared to complete at least a 1 mile loop with your assigned pup. The shelter dogs that will be participating in this event range from 40-60lbs. Most of them have not had much leash training, and will probably be very excited when coming out of the kennels. Participants must be 18 yrs old to be assigned a dog. Underage participants are welcome to come along with mom or dad, but they cannot be responsible for the leash. (The only exception would be for minors who have registered as a volunteer with El Paso Animal Services, and have completed orientation & Level 1 handling training.) This event is not suited for smaller children. Please do not bring strollers, child carriers, or family pets along.
