NEW GROOMER & GROOMING SHOP PERMIT UPDATE

The new Groomer License and Grooming Shop Permit applications are live on the City of El Paso’s Online Licensing/Permitting Portal. Please click the button below to be redirected to this application site. You will need to create a new account before visiting the ‘Licenses’ tab to begin your application. It is important to submit all required documentation and ensure your information is correct before submitting payment and your application. 

*It is the responsibility of any applicant to review their application thoroughly.  If it is denied for being incomplete in any fashion, to include not having the appropriate documentation attached, you will have to reapply and pay another application fee.*

As a reminder, fees must be paid online with a debit or credit card at the time of application. Upon review and acceptance of a shop application, the initial inspection will be scheduled. Upon review and acceptance of a groomer application, groomers will be contacted to visit the shelter to have their photo taken and their license issued.

    • Grooming Shop application fee – $110 (includes initial inspection)
    • Grooming Shop re-inspection fee – $50
    • Groomer License fee – $25

ALL fields of the application MUST be filled out or your application will automatically be denied and you will need to resubmit a new request for permit.
