Help a Homeless Pet this Holiday Season

Over 2,000 pets are expected to come through our doors this December, adding to the hundreds already waiting for their forever homes. End the year on a good paw and donate this month to make their holiday season merry and bright!

Giving Tree

Our shelter pets have made their list and checked it twice, and have put their wishlist items on our Giving Tree! Visit our Giving Tree in the Animal Services Center Lobby (location) to pick up a shelter pet’s wish card, purchase the donation on the wish card, and bring the donation back to the center before December 30.

Make a Monetary Donation

We care for almost 30,000 animals every single year—all needing to be vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and neutered, some needing specialized care, all needing love. Give a gift that makes an impact to a pet right here in your community. Email our Development Coordinator at to find out how you can make a one-time or regular tax-deductible donation to pets in need.

Clean Out Those Closets

If you’re cleaning out and making room in your home, bring by those gently used blankets, comforters and towels! These linens help keep our shelter pets comfy and warm while they wait for their forever homes. You can also bring by other in-kind pet items that you may not be needing anymore.

Donate from the Comfort of your Home
Can’t make it to our shelter to drop off donations? You can donate from the comfort of your home by using our Amazon Wishlist. Our Cat and Dog Wishlists have many supplies that we are in need of here at the shelter and to help support our many lifesaving programs. You simply just purchase the items from your Amazon account and the items will be delivered straight to our doors.
Give Your Time

If you can’t afford to donate money or items, donate your time! Our Volunteer program is always recruiting new lifesavers to join our mission, and there are many ways you can help pets in need. Visit our Volunteer page for upcoming volunteer orientations, or email our Volunteer program at
