Pet Pantry Helps Families in Need

Thanks to grants from Maddie’s Fund, PetSmart Charities and Petco Foundation, El Paso Animal Services has expanded its Pet Resources program to help keep pets with the families that love them.

Previously, El Paso Animal Services had a Pet Commissary program for community members only receiving government assistance. However, with the effects that COVID-19 has put on our community, and many families struggling to figure out how to feed or care for their pets during these challenging times, services have been expanded to families in need. Our Pet Pantry offers food and some animal supplies to support families caring for pets in the El Paso community. For more information on how to receive these resources, contact our Pet Resources team at (915) 212-8735 or pethelpline@elpasotexas.gov.
