El Paso Animal Services recognizes Mr. Larry Marquez as the June 2020 Employee of the Month. Mr. Marquez’s co-workers describe him as a person who finds POSITIVITY in a negative situation. He is able to turn a situation where an animal might not have a chance at a happy existence into one where the animal finds a home. He has UNDERSTANDING of how the Animal Shelter functions and helps his co-workers in any area of the shelter. Furthermore, he takes RESPONSIBILITY for the animals that are under the care of Animal Services by getting them adopted or fostered out to members of the community.  Staff and management describe him as an employee who RESPECTS the goals of Animal Services and the people he works with. In addition, he does not shy away from asking for help when needed and seeks to learn new skills for the betterment of the Animal Shelter.
