Press Release: Animal Services Takes Pups on the Road for Offsite Adoption Events

Finding a great adoptable pet will be a lot more convenient this weekend as Animal Services is taking pups on the road for two fun-filled offsite adoption events.

The first adoption event will be held on Friday, October 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Subaru El Paso. If you are not looking to adopt a pet, Animal Services and Subaru will also be providing free microchips to owned pets who visit their Subaru Loves Pets event in addition to the free pet adoptions.

Additionally on Saturday, October 23, Animal Services will be heading be at Barnett Harley-Davidson from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for their Pet Adoption Day.

Adoptions will be free at both events and each adoption includes the pet’s spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license.

WHERE:         8272 Gateway Blvd. East

For those unable to attend either event, Animal Services encourages potential adopters to visit the Animal Services Center located at 5001 Fred Wilson. The center is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and currently has more than 700 pets needing a loving family.
