El Paso Animal Services Hosts Bark Wars Pet Event with Free Pet Microchips, Free Pet ID Tags, Low-Cost Vaccines, Free Adoptions and More!

WHERE:      El Paso Animal Services Center
5001 Fred Wilson Ave.

Join El Paso Animal Services for an out-of-this-world experience at their Bark Wars Pet Event, on May 4, at 5001 Fred Wilson Ave. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with dog and cat adoptions continuing until 6 p.m.

Attendees will be able to take advantage of free microchips, pet ID tags, and adoptions. Far East Animal Care Center will be onsite offering discounted vaccines for the community, including Rabies vaccines for cats and dogs, Parvo and Bordetella vaccines for dogs, and FVRCP vaccines for cats.

The event will feature a variety of local vendors, games, pet photography, food, a pet costume contest, and more. K&K Grooming will also be present, providing grooming services for community pets.

The BISSELL Pet Foundation is covering adoption fees during its Empty the Shelters campaign, which runs from May 1 through May 15. This campaign is an ongoing partnership aimed at finding homes for shelter pets.

“We’re grateful for the collaboration of all the organizations involved in providing engaging ways to help pets in need,” said Terry Kebschull, Director of El Paso Animal Services. “This event brings our community together to support shelter pets, and we’re so thankful for everyone’s commitment to this cause.”
