Due to inclement weather, the Department of Animal Services has closed down the outdoor kennels located at the Animal Services Center (5001 Fred Wilson), and has moved dogs to a temporary offsite shelter at Sunrise Park (3800 Sunrise Ave).

El Paso Animal Services will soon expand its medical operations through a generous donation from PetSmart Charities. The non-profit, and leading funder of animal welfare in North America, will donate much-needed surgical equipment and supplies that will allow Animal Services to perform more spay/neuter surgeries at one time.
